Editorial Review
This round, snapset pool is family-size and made from sturdy vinyl and PVC. Setup is simple: unfold the pool, pull the sidewall up from the center, cover the vinyl bottom with water and remove any wrinkles, and then finish filling. Once it's set up, the pool measures 8 feet in diameter with an 18-inch-high sidewall that is decorated in a colorful sunfish design. Filled to capacity, the pool holds 565 gallons that can be drained (or skimmed) by simply pushing in the sidewall. This is a great way to cool off on hot days or a fun alternative to lounging in the backyard. --Pam Lauer

4 out of 5 stars Doggie Pool   September 2, 2010
vs (Dallas TX)
I bought this pool specifically for my 2 1/2 year old Springer Spaniel. I was a little concerned at first from the other reviews about using for a dog. However, I decided to take the risk because I wanted him to have something to play in and cool off. The price was inexpensive enough to risk. I set it up and he played in for 45 minutes the first night. The pool is huge (much bigger than I thought it would be). It was a little challenging setting it up because it was only me and to help hold up the sides, I used 2 lawn chairs. I do recommend at least two people, but one can do it. I put in a small waterfall pump to keep the water moving so the water didn't become stagnet and attract mosquitos. I am overall very pleased and my dog loves it. I am not sure if I would want to use it for a puppy as it could easily become a chew toy and puncture it.

5 out of 5 stars My kids love it   September 2, 2010

My kids love to swim in their pool. I have a five year old and an infant and they both have a great time in this pool.

My five-year-old can swim in it (kicking and splashing with her face under the water) and my baby loves to sit on someone's lap and splash the water. He can also stand up with his feet on the bottom and hold the rail.

It has proven to be very durable and I can set it up all by myself with the help of a few plastic chairs. I can also totally empty it and put it upside down on those plastic chairs to air it out and make sure nothing grows in it.

Overall been very easy and fun.

5 out of 5 stars Big pool for little price   August 4, 2010

Great price and pool is deep for the kids, it does wear out if its in the hot sun baking for too long but its worth the price and will definitely be a splash for you this summer!

No compaints at all... set it up on a wood patio and it's plenty of room for myself and my two children (3years and 18months). I fill it about10 inches deep or so. Very happy with this purchase and would buy it again and recommend it to friends~

The pool description should indicate that the pool must be full of water in order to use. Eighteen inches of water is too much for a young toddler. Therefore, potential buyers should be notified of the pool's inappropriateness for very young children.
