deflatable March 26, 2010 R. Fisher (Raleigh, NC) Was a birthday present for my 1 year old, lasted maybe a month, covered with patches and tape by the end and still deflated!!!!
Do not buy March 9, 2010 J (Cincinnati, OH USA) We purchased this item for the holidays for my 1 year old. She played with it a handful of times and it developed holes in the tunnel where the sides bend down and one side of the main ball pit. The enclosed patch was a joke.I was told by the Manufacturer that since it was past 45 days it was not returnable or replacable. So the moral of the story, toys are only supposed to last 45 days!
I picked this one mainly because it carried the Fisher Price name. After it fell apart with minimal use, I discovered it is not made by Fisher Price but a company that they license their name to. Buyer beware.
Fun while it lasted February 3, 2010 S. Melching We bought this for our daughter for Christmas. It lasted four hours before it was in the trash. The seam did not hold up when two kids played in it. If you have an extremely docile child, then this is the ball pit for you!
My son loves it! November 21, 2009 V. Chaisson (MA, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Picked this up at our local store not knowing the bad reviews it got. Even after reading some of the reviews, we decided to keep it and give it a shot...instead of returning it. Our 2 year old son loves it and we haven't had bad luck with it yet. Its been up for about 3 months now. Sure the tunnel doesn't stay on, but my son plays with it either way. Makes him happy, why should I care? We get alot of use out of it. Its definately the favorite toy and a parents life saver!! Would like to add that you can get this exact one cheaper depending on where you look. Do some research if you want something not too big nor small that will make your little one happy. Money well spent.
Great for toddlers!!! January 9, 2009 slv 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My 11 month old son LOVES this ball pit. He climes in and out of it all day long. He loves to stand up in it and has already learned how to put a ball in the correct hole then watch it go down the slide and back into the ball pit.
Drawbacks
- Not enough balls. I bought an additonal 100 balls for about $10 at Target.
- Slide held on by velcro so you need to adjust it in order for the balls to go back into the pit. Once it was adjusted I didn't have to touch it again until my friends kids came over and ripped it off.
- Tunnel is not connected, but does pop into the side of the pit. The problem with this is it then sits off the ground about 1" at the bottom, but my son doesn't seem to mind.
In addition, my friends 2 year old and 4 year old came over and had this thing upside down and pulled apart. It didn't pop, but I would say this is probably more suited for younger children (maybe 9 months - 2 year).
